The walls of Roztyly station on Line C are covered in decorative ceramic motifs. These convex and concave tiles — in warm oranges and browns — were frequently used in the 1970s and instantly recall for many Czechs those dreary ‘normalization’ days after the 1968 Warsaw Pact invasion when communism appeared here to stay.
