Jiřího z Poděbrad on Line A is one of two stations to link thematically with the country’s long-standing Protestant religious tradition. The station honors the first (and only) Hussite king, George of Poděbrad. The vestibule is lined with amazing — and long neglected — ceramic reliefs of 15th-century life, the work of artist Lubomír Šilar. Photo by Mark Baker.
