This page from the minutes of the same high-level meeting in Prague on July 24-25, 1989, on Operation OHEŇ, is the first time I’m aware my code name, INTER, appears in direct connection with Operation OHEŇ. On a back page of the minutes, point 5 states: ‘Further, KP VRANOVSKÝ was introduced to the INTER and MARTA operations being developed by headquarters, for which the resident will provide tasks for participants.’ The memo notes ‘deficiencies’ in VRANOVSKÝ’s work.
