Alan Levy’s first “Prague Profile” column in the debut edition introduced “Us,” the editors and reporters at The Prague Post. He began the profile with the words “We are living in the Left Bank of the 90s” — a deliberate comparison of Prague to Paris of the 1920s. For better or worse, that phrase stuck and would help lure thousands of expats to Prague in the coming years.
