Alan Levy’s penchant for loyalty sometimes put ‘The Prague Post’ in difficult situations. With his Prague Profile of Jan Kavan, in the Post’s second edition, Alan interjected the paper directly into Czechoslovakia’s national dialogue. Kavan worked for our paper and was accused of once collaborating with the communist-era secret police. Alan delivered a passionate defense. Kavan was later exonerated.
